Refunds & cancellations

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid under a signed engagement letter for audits such as Regulatory Controls Assessments, Licensing Readiness Audits, Payment Corridor Controls Reviews, and Customer Due Diligence Audits. Website browsing is free and not refundable.

Timeframe to request

Cancellation or refund requests should be emailed to hello@cloudnodesecurity.digital within 7 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, client cancellation notice or our inability to staff the agreed window).

Deposits

A 40% deposit is due on signature. If you cancel more than 14 days before the scheduled fieldwork start, we refund the deposit minus any documented third-party costs already incurred (for example, booked travel for on-site sampling). Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit unless we rebook the team for another client in the same window.

Full or partial refunds

If we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and cannot offer a mutually acceptable new date, you receive a full refund of sums paid. If fieldwork has partly begun and you cancel, fees for completed stages (planning memo issued, interview days completed) remain payable; unused stages may be refunded proportionally.

Non-refundable items

• Completed planning memos and issued draft or final reports
• On-site days already delivered
• Travel or venue costs prepaid at your request and non-recoverable

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 10 days’ notice is usually accommodated without fee. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge stated in the engagement letter.

No-shows

If key client contacts miss agreed interview blocks without notice, those hours are treated as delivered. We will attempt one makeup slot within the original fieldwork window.

Work already started

Once the planning memo is issued, the planning portion of the fee is earned. Once sampling begins, refunds cover only undelivered stages.

Purchased materials

We do not sell physical products. Any secure storage or courier costs agreed for evidence handling are billed at cost and are non-refundable once spent.

Refund method & processing time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of written approval. Bank transfer refunds may take longer depending on your institution.
