Draft findings meetings that stay factual
How Cloud Node Security runs draft findings clearance during fintech audits so boards receive accurate reports without negotiated facts.
Clearance meetings are where trust is either earned or spent. Our rule is simple: facts backed by samples can be corrected if we misread a file; severity language can be discussed; unsupported softening cannot.
We send a draft findings pack at least three business days before the meeting. Each finding cites the sample reference. Clients arrive prepared to show the missing page or explain the exception path we did not see.
What we will change:
- Misidentified product line names
- Incorrect dates pulled from a file header
- Context that changes whether an item is an exception or a documented override
What we will not change:
- Removing a finding because it is commercially inconvenient
- Relabelling a repeated threshold breach as “training opportunity” without evidence of training
Independent audits for fintech only help if the final report still looks like the draft after politics enter the room.
